Nobody knows the trouble I´ve seen...

Three days, people! Three days have I been struggling with my computer and movie maker and I have many times felt the need to throw the damn thing through the nearest window, but today I´m finally done editing the video of todays layout. Puh! New computers are no walk in the park…

So todays layout is about my daughter having a saturday candy break at the beach one day this summer. She was in the silly mood and used her candy lips as her own lips and that makes cute pictures.

This time I have made a mixed media layout using inks, mists, stencils and molding paste to make the background

I have clustered all the papers and embellishments in one giant pile and finished it of with a round journaling spot.

Some detail shots:

Bzzzz

I´m still scrapbooking my summer photos. This time my nephews joining the summer club at the museum where I work. This particular day we were at the botanical garden and learned about bumble bees, looking at them free, catching them and even petting their soft fur. I know, it´s crazy!

I have played around with mixed media this time, using the smooching technique, splattering and molding paste.

The colors are Dylusions and Glimmer mists in various colors. The molding paste is used through a hexagon stencil. Love the effect.
I didn´t have any bumble bee embellishments to put in the jar, so I printed a few bumble bees on photo paper and used them here and there on the layout. I put on these cool glasses to mimic the weird glasses the boys made out of their bumble bee catching jars.
I love those jars! <3

Apart from the mixed media stuff and the bumble bees all that I have used on this layout came from the Hip Kit Club July kit.

Looking back

Even though summer is gone, I create summer in my scraproom. It's so lovely pulling out the summer collections and use a patterned paper with this gigantic sun. It's like travelling back to the sunny vacation to Bulgaria we had this summer.

Today's layout is all about celebrating the sun, the water and the lazy life of summer. I used the July kit from Hip Kit Club. I must say I love those jars. So sweet! And the Crate chipboard pieces is to die for. Yummi!

A little bit fruity

Hi everyone.

It´s a grey day here in Norway so I thought I will brighten my and everyone else's day with this very sunny and summery LO. The photo is of my husband on our "Kissing trip" 1,5 years ago. We had been married for 10 years so we went for a child free vacation just me and him. And to make our daughter not feeling so jealous of our trip we told her that it was a love trip, a boyfriend and girlfriend trip and all we were going to do were kissing and kissing and kissing. Sudenly she didm´t want to go at all. Moa-ha-ha! Evil mum!

Sooo… this picture is from a day where we found this outside juice place where we would just pick out what fruits we wanted and they would make us juice then and there. Very exotic for us. So we sat there, drinking our juice and looking at the ocean. It was lovely.

The layout is a 8,5x11 LO, which is what I go to when the 12x12 feels to big suddenly. My albums are filled with all kinds of sizes just because I want to change it up from time to time.  This layout was such a blast making. I loved piling all the crazy, fun colors together. Such fresh colors.

Here is some detail shots of the layout.

Products used:

- Chickaniddy - Yippee

Hope you are all having a beautiful day no matter is your sky is grey or blue. :-)

The colorful wedding

So, I am back with a new layout. This time I will show you a layout with a picture of a really, really cute bride and groom. They got married this June and they wedding is the most colorful wedding I have ever been at. They had made such effort to make the wedding be just as they are; full of color, fun, retro love and sweet love for each other. They even had the minister stop in the middle of the ceremony so that they could update their Facebook status. So much fun.

I am still on a mission to use up all of my august Hip Kit and I have managed to use a few bits and pieces from the kit on this layout. I have also used some really old stickers. That is a really good feeling. Don´t you just adore those gold thickets words? I can´t get enough.

Some detail shots of the layout:

Oh, sweet love. I love weddings.

The revival of the blog

Sound like a good movie title, doesn´t it?

It's time to revive the blog. 2014 was a year of some scrapbooking, but not so much imagination and inspiration, but 2015 is something really different. I have lived in my craft room this year. I have redesigned the room, purged a lot of old stuff and best of it all; I have scrapbooked so much! And it is fun! So much fun! It is so much fun that I think we have to move soon because my albums have taken over the house… But I have not come around to blogging yet. But now I do. :)

There are no other blog posts here right now. That´s because I want to start fresh with all new layouts, project life pages, cards and other things. A new chapter.

So the layout below is one I made yesterday with some of the few pieces I have left from the Hip Kit Club august kit. I have so few pieces of paper left and so much embellishments (the package from Hip Kit will contain the paper add on kit as well) so I am using embellishments like nobodys business.

And by mentioning Hip Kit Club I just have to give them so much credit for making me get into my scrapbooking groove again. I just love every single part of their kits.

I LOVE the pictures on this layout. I just absolutely love them and my heart flutters every time I take a look at them. My daughter looks so happy and so free and so beautiful here and it makes me wish that she will never lose that feeling.
